City Link, the parcel delivery company
City Link Limited, the parcel delivery company, entered administration on 24 December 2014. If you are a creditor please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Who were City Link (the courier)?
City Link was one of Britain’s oldest private package couriers, trading since the late 1960s.
Thanks to an ultra-modern system of tracking, the company established that on average year-by-year it delivers 76 million parcels both within its UK base and worldwide. Tailoring its deals in accordance with a variety of customers and demands, the courier’s recognisable yellow branding has become synonymous with modern British parcel delivery.
With a turnover well in excess of £300 million per year, City Link was a thoroughly modern and profitable player in the package delivery market; however, on Christmas Eve of 2014 the company entered administration and as such is no longer trading.
Trade Union says timing is “absolute disgraceful”
